As the stable growth of economy and constantly development of our world civilization, it influence a tremendous improvement not only on the scientific field but also on medical part. Therefore, people nowadays start to concern about our own sanitation and health issues. With this notion, it also help us to live longer and in a healthier way. But in the other hand, according to the above factors the aging population are gradually increase in the proportion of the world’s population. According to the UN report, in AD 2000 global elderly population has rising gradually reached to 600 million people, accounting for 10 percent of the total population. Forecasting this issues, aging population will increase to two billion by 2050, the aging population proportion will be over 21 percent. Furthermore , the next 50 years the elderly population will increases nearly four times, especially the elderly over 80 years old increased faster. So we should be prepare and pay attention to this social problems.

I come from a country which is the highest elderly population all over the world , Taiwan. There have a high opportunities to encounter with elder surrounded in our life. I found the elderly population living in these environments has encountered many problems , for example , the psychological impact on the body , metal issue ,their living status more over the national social welfare system and so on. There are still many difficulties that we have to help them solve the problems.

All in all , I hope that by doing the research and studying with their need , I could help them improve their living status and design basic on easy to learn and use it instinct . Plus , I would like to apply bio-mimicry design into the product which could made the design more interesting and sustainable.
